Angel TV Films Not Likely

Creator Joss Whedon told an interviewer at the Saturn Awards in Los Angeles that he is not expecting the rumored Angel telefilms to happen.

Whedon's current focus is on Serenity, the feature film based on his cancelled series, Firefly. So far, all rumors of Angel, Buffy or a spin-off in the Buffyverse are only that - rumors - with no firm plans in the works.

Angel will end it's fifth year on May 19th (in the US) on The WB with a finale co-star Amy Acker (Fred) thinks will leave on a good note. "It leaves it pretty open. I mean, some things really come to an end, but... I think you'll be happy with the ending".
