Spacek Gets A Ring To Return To The Horror Genre

"Carrie" heroine Sissy Spacek is set to make a return to the horror genre in the anticiplated sequel to "The Ring". Acting along-side stars Naomi Watts and Simon Baker, Spacek's character is set to remain a mystery with the script being closely guarded.

The story follows on from the original which told of a video tape that killed viewers after seven days. The 2nd installment in the story, by Dreamworks, and directed by Hideo Nakata, is expected to start shooting in mid-May.
