British Fantasy Society Announces Short Story Competition For 2004

The British Fantasy Society has announced its 2004 writing competition, details as follows and good luck to everyone who enters!

Genre: Fantasy/Dark Fantasy/Horror
Theme: Any
Word count: 5000 words (max)
Closing date: 30 June 2004

Entry is free to BFS members, £5 to non-members.

Prizes include cash (dependent on funds), publication in Dark Horizons and a winners medal presented at FantasyCon 2004.

Author names must *not* appear on the mss. Initial reading will be done by a panel with the shortlisted stories being judged by Dorothy Lumley of the Dorian Literary Agency. Members will be sent details and an entry form in a forthcoming mailing. Contact comp@britishfantasysociety.org.uk
