Doctor Who's TARDIS set to tour towns across Wales

The tour is part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the hugely popular series, made in Wales by BBC Cymru Wales, and culminates in Cardiff on the day the special episode will be broadcast.

• Saturday 16 November - Holyhead
• Sunday 17 November - Llandudno
• Monday 18 November - Wrexham
• Tuesday 19 November - Aberystwyth
• Wednesday 20 November - St Davids
• Thursday 21 November - Swansea
• Friday 22 November - Newport
• Saturday 23 November - Cardiff

Brian Minchin, the series’ Executive Producer, said: “Doctor Who fans across Wales will get a unique opportunity to get up close to the Doctor’s time machine and be part of our anniversary celebrations. Look out for it in a town near you.”

The anniversary episode, called The Day Of The Doctor, starring the current Doctor, Matt Smith, as well as the previous Doctor, David Tennant, will be shown on BBC One Wales on 23 November.
