Red Dwarf Returns... Back To Earth
It's been a decade since we last saw the crew of Red Dwarf, but while the crew are older they're still none the wiser.
When Lister's busy day of annoying Rimmer is interrupted by a monstrous attack, it's pretty much business as usual - until a shock development throws Rimmer, Lister, Cat and Kryten back to planet Earth.
For eight series - totalling 52 episodes - Dave Lister has wanted to return to his home planet. Now in Red Dwarf: Back To Earth, a brand new three-part series to be aired on Dave.. he has!
Three, brand new episodes will air over the Easter weekend, and the eagerly anticipated first episode will kickstart the weekend at 9pm on Good Friday. After the three episodes, the bumper weekend concludes with Red Dwarf: The Making Of Back To Earth, a behind-the-scenes look at the new production.
Red Dwarf: Back To Earth will be Dave's biggest commission yet and its first foray into scripted comedy. Attracting both mainstream and cult audiences, Red Dwarf has enjoyed phenomenal success since it first aired on BBC Two in 1988. The adventures of Lister and co spanned eight seasons and has won numerous TV, comedy, sci-fi and drama awards including an International Emmy and a British Comedy Award.
Red Dwarf: Back To Earth, a brand new three-part series, premieres Friday 10th April, 9pm on Dave.
