900 years ago, a Saxon mated with a werewolf and started a race of hideous hybrids. Jump forward to modern day Los Angeles and the beast is known as DarkWolf. This vicious half-breed werewolf has taken to terrorising the streets with evil plans to take over the world. When strong yet sensitive L.A.P.D. Detective Steve Turley (Ryan Alosio, Denial) and his partner Hartigan (Steven Williams) take part in a werewolf arrest that goes horribly awry, it becomes clear that they are dealing with no ordinary hybrid. Ordinary hybrid?! Hell no, why that's DarkWolf himself, (Kane Hodder).

Forced to take over the werewolves’ investigation after his partner is killed, Turley follows the bloody trail of mutilated bodies. He is part of a special investigative team tracking this very particular (and hairy) killer. It's up to him to destroy DarkWolf before it mates, which will secure the future of the werewolf lineage.

Meanwhile, Turley clues into the fact that his cute gal pal Josie (Samaire Armstrong — TV Series The OC) may be more than she seems as she starts going through a series of inexplicable changes. Unaware of her special powers that attract the beast, the unsuspecting sexy young waitress becomes its target and the cop must find a way to rescue her and ultimately the entire human race.

A well-kept bag lady named Mary (Tippi Hedren, The Birds) quickly reveals herself to be someone known as a "Protector," who lugs around a huge leather-bound book full of werewolf lore and may just prove to be the key to this horrific plight. The unstoppable creature is on the hunt to find the next matriarch of the pure-bred werewolves so that it can mate with her before the night is over and continue the werewolf lineage.

The DVD features an 18-minute making of featurette, and a hilarious blooper reel featuring Armstrong and co-star and former Playboy Playmate Jaime Bergman (Gone in 60 Seconds, Son of the Beach) limbering up between takes.
