Buffy Magazine Issue #61 On Sale 27th May

In Issue #61 of Buffy Magazine, on sale 27 May, they have the latest news on Sarah Michelle Gellar’s decision on an Angel appearance, Michelle Trachtenberg, a.k.a. Hellmouth Herald Sarah Michelle Gellar was not asked to appear in the final episode of Angel. Despite having completed filming The Grudge in Tokyo, Joss Whedon said that he didn’t want the focus of the final show to be on a guest star. He also hinted at a resolution of the Buffy issue between Spike and Angel. Sarah Michelle Gellar talks about eating expensive poisonous fish, sight seeing in London and her martial arts ambitions, and there’s to be a new Ghosts of Albion tale for BBC Cult’s Vampire Magazine project from Amber Benson and Christopher Golden.

On Trachtenberg During three seasons of Buffy, Dawn Summers grew from a whiny, angst ridden teenager to a strong, confident and important member of the Scooby Gang. In The Beginning... Impossible as it is to think of a world without Buffy, there was once a time without Vampire Slayers, Sunnydale and Watchers. The phenomenon started as a presentation reel for Joss Whedon to convince the networks that his idea was worth their investment.
