Babylon Five Fans Hit By Tragic News

Fans of the Hit TV Series Babylon 5 are in mourning, following the sad news that Richard Biggs, who co- starred as Dr Stephen Franklin, passed away on Saturday 22nd May 2004.

Richard Biggs, who has played a doctor in several series, including NBC's "Days of our lives" and Babylon 5, as well as guest appearances in programs such as Diagnosis Murder, originally aspired to become a doctor himself, but instead discovered a hidden talent for acting which became a passion.

Stephen Austin, a close personal friend of Richard Biggs, who also appeared in Babylon 5, said, "On the morning of Saturday, May 22, 2004, Richard Biggs ("Dr.Stephen Franklin" - Babylon 5) passed away at the age of 42. He leaves behind his wife and two young sons."

Claudia Christian's official site also included the heartfelt message, "Claudia wishes to extend her deepest condolences to the family, friends and fans of Richard Biggs, who co- starred with her in Babylon 5 as "Dr. Franklin." Richard tragically passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2004. He will be missed by everyone."

Richard leaves behind his wife, Lori Gerber, and his two sons.
